Jazz Society Rising Star Concert

Vocalist Ronnie Rose, will perform jazz and blues standards this Sunday at the Rising Star Concert Series sponsored by the Las Vegas Jazz Society. He will be joined by Tommy Alvarado, tenor sax, Larry White, piano, Chris Gorden, bass and Jess Gopen, drums. Whitney Library Concert Hall, 5175 E Tropicana, between Nellis Blvd & Boulder Hwy. Tickets available at the door. Admission $17, students/seniors $12, Jazz Society $8. 2 pm.

This is part of a series of LV Jazz Society Sunday Jazz Concerts: The Classic Jazz Series at the Winchester Communiity Theater (advance tickets 702-455-7340 $17/$12/$8), the Rising Star Series at the Whitney Library (tickets available at door $17/$12/$8), The Jazz Stars at Summerlin at the Summerlin Library Performing Arts Center (tickets available at door $20/$15 Sun City residents/$10) and the Annual Jazz Society Free Jazz Picnic at the Rainbow Library Amphitheater. The Jazz Picnic is scheduled for Apr 22 and is free and open to the public. All concerts start at 2 pm.
