An Orchid Society in the desert? Just goes to show that just about anything you can think of is available in Vegas! The Greater Las Vegas Orchid Society meets the first Sunday of each month at the Nevada Garden Clubs Bldg in Lorenzi Park. Orchids are on display and for sale, with educational programs for members and non-members. Annual membership fee is $25. 702-251-1456 or glvos.com. Lorenzi Park W. Washington Ave between N. Rancho and N. Vallley View Meetings start at 2:00 pm.
