Fusion, Fire & Ice

The Nevada Ballet Theater Group has an exciting dance program planned for the 3rd weekend in March, composed of three one-act works of very diverse choreography and rhythms. Titled “Fusio, Fire & Ice – A Celebration of Dance,” the mix includes Fest Polonaise with music by Johann Svendson and choreography by Bruce Steivel, Les Patineurs, music by Giacomo Meyerbeer, choreography by Sir Frederick Ashton, and Lamabarena, choreography by Val Caniparoli with music by J. S. Bach and traditional African drums. There is something for everyone’s taste: Fusion (Fest Polonais, a “festival of flowers”), Ice (Les Patineurs – the Ice Skaters) and Fire (African-inspired Lamabrena).
