The dreaded season is upon us and the UNLV University Forum Lecture Series delivers a timely topic for we fellow citizen-sufferers. “Taxes and Politics: The IRS, Congress and How Federal Tax Laws Are Made.” That should be an interesting explanation – as if one could ever understand the how or why of any federal legislation, especially that dealing with funding. The lecturer is Prof. Steve Johnson of the Boyd School of Law. As usual for the series, there is no charge nor is registration required. Mon Mar 26. Barrick Museum Auditorium on UNLV campus. 7:30p
