World Trade Week has been an institution in Los Angeles for 80 years. Nevada has one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, so it seemed liked a natural that Las Vegas was ripe for its own World Trade Week. Tony Michalski, head of the Las Vegas office of the US Dept of Commerce contacted the Las Vegas World Affairs Council and World Trade Week – Las Vegas was born early this year. The LVWAC is offering a 2 day program May 3-4 at Harrah’s Las Vegas for any Las Vegas multinational company or any company seeking to be international.
