Steel Band Concert & Clinic

The annual steel band concert and clinic “Day of Percussion” sponsored by the Nevada chapter of the Percussive Arts Society starts at noon Sun May 6 at CCSN. The concert combines the steels bands of UNLV, CCSN and Coronado High School, directed by Tom Miller. Talent includes Pepe Jimenez, Kalan and Pat Petrillo with a tribute to Frank Zappa with Marc Atkinson. The mass steel band concert is at 6:00 pm.
