Start with wine and hors d’oeuvres at 5:30p, go to quick draws at 6:00p with live auction at 7:00p on Sat May 12. Featured work is “Villa de Santiago” by Ed Hoag. Hoag is the president of the Nevada Watercolor Society and the associate director for the School of Architecture at UNLV. He paints only subjects and places he has visited and personally experienced. This is the 9th annual event for New Horizons Academy which bills itself as “Las Vegas’ longest running art show & auction.” The New Horizons Academy is a private “alternative school for students with learning differences and academically gifted students.” Admission and Bidding Numbers for the event are Free.
