Mother’s Day Luncheon (all ages)
Friday, May 11, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Fee: $2
East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center Ballroom, 250 North Eastern Avenue, 229-1515.
Children, bring your mothers, or mothers, bring your children, to celebrate Mother’s Day with a delicious meal, activities and entertainment provided by the center staff.
Parents Night Out (ages 6-14)
Friday, May 11, 6 to 10 p.m.
Fee: $12 per child
Charleston Heights Community School, 6438 Celeste Avenue, (702) 229-4440.
Children play games, make crafts, eat dinner and watch a movie. Register in person by May 10.
Mother’s Day Brunch and Fashion Show (all ages) Saturday, May 12, 10 a.m. to noon
Fee: $3 in advance; $5 at the door
West Community Center, 2050 Sapphire Stone Avenue, (702) 229-5080.
Show mom your appreciation by treating her to a morning of fun, food and fashion.
For Your Mom Craft (ages 5-8)
Mother/Daughter Tea & Fashion Show (ages 5+ and mothers)
Saturday, May 12, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Fee: $8 per person
Mirabelli Community Center, 6200 Hargrove Avenue, (702) 229-6359.
Dress yourself and your daughter in attire from your favorite decade and join us for tea followed by a fashion show. Advance ticket purchase required by May 10. Call for details.
Mommy Day Dance (all ages)
Saturday, May 12, 4 to 6 p.m.
Fee: $10 Mom + 1 child; $15 Mom and 2+ children
Veterans Memorial Leisure Services Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive, (702) 229-1100.
Bring mom for an afternoon of dancing and fun. Special prize basket raffles just for mom.
Family Fun Dance
Saturday, May 12, 7 to 10 p.m.
Tickets: $3, children 5 and under free

Bring the entire family and celebrate Mother??????? Day with an evening of fun and dance. Learn new dance steps including hip-hop, salsa, reggaeton, square dance and more. Show off your dance talents by entering our contests. Cosponsored by Univision Radio.
Family Movie in the Park (all ages)

Bring the family and a picnic to enjoy martial arts and gymnastic performances by students, family games and other activities. Festivities end with the movie Heavy Weights.
2nd Annual Mother’s Day Dinner & Dance (adults)

Get a jump on Mother??????? Day with a special, catered buffet dinner and dance music of yesterday played by saxophonist Grove, trumpet and flugelhorn player Dick Guider, drummer Bob Grundy and keyboardist Peter Urquidi. Marsha K provides vocals.
Mother’s Day Lunch and Concert (all ages)

This annual event is always a full house, so get your tickets early. Enjoy a pre-concert, catered lunch and then listen to favorite standards from yesteryear.
Sweet Mom’s Day (all ages)

Fee: Ages 0-3 free, $1 ages 4-17, $2 ages 18-49, $1.50 ages 50+.

Free recreational swimming for mother when accompanied by her children.
