Public Speaking Workshop

Today is the Las Vegas chapter of the National Speakers Association workshop on Sat May 19 from 9a-4p. This is a dynamic group of people – intelligent, involved and interesting. These are all qualities that I often hear people are searching for in other Las Vegans. Let me stress you do not have to be a member to attend the workshops, but your fees are less if you are. You are also NOT required to get up and speak in front of the group. You can spend the day listening and learning if that is your choice. It’s an excellent opportunity to network with a different set of locals than you would usually meet.

May’s guest is Dick Bruso whose expertise is creative branding, utilizing the power of media and developing strategic networking. This promises to be a highly practical program to help speakers focus on what makes them unique and position themselves to be “heard above the noise” in the marketplace.

The afternoon session is hands-on with the opportunity for five attendees to work one-on-one with Bruso to “brandstorm” before the group. Learn the “umbrella approach” to branding that covers all your services – speaking, consulting, product development.
