“110 in the Shade” Summer Theatre

110.jpgSuper Summer Theatre presents “110 in the Shade,” a musical adapted by N. Richard Nash from his play “The Rainmaker.” The music is composed by Harvey Schmidt with lyrics by Tom Hones. The show opened on Broadway in 1963 and includes the songs “Love, Don’t Turn Away,” “Poker Polka,” “Everything Beautiful Happens at Night,” “The Little Red Hat” and more. The production runs Wed-Sat, Jul 11-Jul 28 at 8pm. (gates open 6pm) Super Summer Theatre is a nonprofit organization presenting quality productions at prices everyone can afford. The outdoor theatre is located in Red Rock Canyon and the shows run only June thru August, with occasional special productions in September.
