Who are the men who fight for Free Libya? They come from widely different backgrounds with different motivations. They all are committed to losing their lives, if it brings about change. That’s what unites them. They want a Free Libya, free of Gaddafi, free to be human beings with the same motivations and desires as the the modern world.

Here are just four of them:

Freedom Fighter Blacksmith: “I will teach my children the meaning of freedom.”

Freedom Fighter Taxi Driver: “It was lack of hope that drove me to fight. I have no money, no future.”

Freedom Fighter Army Veteran: “Our plan was for a peaceful protest, but security forces killed six of my friends and I picked up a  gun. ”

Freedom Fighter Businessman, college educated: “This is our country. We will fight with every weapon. We don’t mind dying.”
