“If we stop now, we get killed anyway,” says a young woman from Benghazi

These are the words of a Libyan young woman from a YouTube video of an AJE segment on the efforts to help the war by the women of Benghazi.  The women of Benghazi: http://bit.ly/fPkanq.

“If we stop now, we get killed anyway,” she explains. Her words echo the sentiment underlying the religious fervor with which the untrained, lightly armed freedom fighters struggle against the superior forces of Gaddafi’s battalions and mercenaries. Gaddafi will show no mercy if they fail.

Uploaded only earlier today, changes in the battlefield at Ras Lanuf had not happened at the time of the filming. I cannot imagine the fear and sorrow that ride with these mothers, wives and sisters on the emotional rollercoaster that never stops.
