NSA Speakers Workshop
Clubs & Assns, Speakers/Lectures | Sandra | February 6, 2007 at 14:24The Las Vegas Chapter of the National Speakers Association (NSA) holds periodic education programs with guest presenters (professional speakers with impressive resumes) that are designed for continuing training for their members. But the educational programs are open to the interested public and a great place to network. Presenters speak on diverse topics and in a variety of styles. The NSA is a group of confident, thinking individuals who enjoy the art of communicating. I attended a fascinating meeting with Steve Pavlina who authors the highly rated website www.StevePavlina.com, dealing with “Personal Development for Smart People.” Steve has successfully created an impressive income stream communicating his search for truth via web and blog technology.
The Saturday, March 17th meeting starts at 9:00 am and goes to 4:00 pm with the day divided into “Story Theater” in the morning and “Dynamite Speech” in the afternoon. The presenter Doug Stevenson, actor and keynote speaker, is the creator of the The Story Theater Method and author of “Never Be Boring Again – Make Your Business Presentations Capture Attention, Inspire Action and Produce Results.” The program provides opportunity for Q&A at end of day. Location of the meeting: Samurai Room, Imperial Palace Hotel. Visit the website for registration and pricing info: www.nsa-lasvegas.com
