Amy Tan is a wonderful writer, her works rich in vocabulary and imagery, her characters finely drawn and complex, her stories intricate and unpredictable. The chosen book for the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District‘s 6th annual “Reading Las Vegas” is Tan’s “Joy Luck Club,” a novel brought to the big screen by Director Ang Lee. The author will herself speak and read at two events in Las Vegas this weekend. Her books will be available for purchase and signing.
