2nd John Deere Vegas Super Barrel Horse Show

Jun 08-10 Las Vegas is host again to the John Deere Vegas Super Show (2nd Annual) for the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA). All competitors must be members of the NBHA, but memberships will be sold at the show. The association was formed in 1992 to promote the sport of barrel racing and last year over 700 competitors showed their stuff at the the 1st Annual John Deere Vegas Super Show.

They’ve got a website that will tell you all you need to know about joining and competing, including Coggins requirements, along with their schedule for events for the year nbha.com. I wasn’t suprised to see a Canadian affiliate, but the idea of barrel racing in Italy causes pause. I didn’t know there were any cowboys there – well, outside of those who made spaghetti westerns.
