Picasso Exhibit at Bellagio
Art, Museums | Sandra | July 15, 2007 at 06:00It’s hot outside, so if you are looking for something to do in the cool, check out the exhibit at the Bellagio. Pablo Picasso is best known for his paintings and drawings, but he actually was a fairly prolific sculptor and ceramicist. Thirty of his works in the media of ceramics are on display at Las Vegas’ Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, (started May 25) and will continue through January 14, 2008. “In the Master’s Hands: Treasures from the Estate of Pablo Picasso” includes figures of an owl, a bird, a fish and a bull with a series of portraits and scenes painted on tiles, plates and plaques.
